Dear Heather,
I wanted to take a moment to extend our sincere gratitude to you for reaching out to us and participating in our son, Benjamin’s, fundraiser.
As you know, Benjamin is a two year old identical twin with spastic cerebral palsy. Since he acquired his wheelchair, we had the need to make handicap accessible modifications to our residence. We decided that we would undertake a large fundraiser in order to raise money for some of the renovations.
We were shocked, and I must admit, a bit skeptical, when you first reached out to us since most people do not donate their time as you were suggesting – especially for people you do not know.
You were a welcome addition to the festivities and everyone enjoyed your involvement.
Again, thank you for reaching out to us. Your generosity and kindness did not go unnoticed and would be recommended to anyone considering a fundraising effort.
